Jacqueline was born in a small town in Venezuela and was raised in Edmonton after her family moved to Canada when she was 4 years old. Growing up she was always surrounded and fascinated by animals. Her family had three dogs and one cat. Her love of animals took her to the Humane Society where she volunteered in her spare time. Her passion for working with animals led her to the discovery of the VMA profession and it wasn’t long before she was enrolled.
Jacqueline is a 2020 NAIT graduate who is excited to bring her new skills to practice and provide care to our patients. She is now interested in working towards becoming a technician.
Her interests outside of work include being active with her border collie Roxy and exploring Canada’s outdoors. She loves to travel as well as spend time with her family and friends. You might see her at the local dog park or hiking in the mountains.
